Gently remove make-up with a more 'skin-kind/lash-kind' remover. A natural plant based oil is excellent for removing mascara, even waterproof and much kinder on the lashes. Gently hold a cotton pad with remover onto the lashes for a few seconds then gently swipe the lashes clean.
For full make-up removal, massage the remover product onto the skin with a circular motion, take off with a warm/hot cloth. Finish by cleansing with your regular cleanser if needed.
